Intro To Sourdough Bread

In this interactive cooking workshop, participants will learn the art of crafting exquisite sourdough bread from scratch. Led by CIA-trained chef Chelsea Bruce, owner of North Fork Chai Co., you’ll receive hands-on instruction in making a classic country loaf. Each attendee will prepare their own dough, which will ferment overnight and be ready for baking the next day.

In addition to the country loaf, Chelsea will demonstrate how to make a seasonal sourdough cinnamon apple loaf—perfect for fall. Participants will enjoy a tasting of this sweet, aromatic bread while learning techniques that can be adapted to other flavored loaves at home.

Snacks will be provided, and the session will last approximately 3 to 3.5 hours, allowing for a more in-depth experience than our usual classes.
